Reading Common Core Standards
Starting last year, I have had to follow the Common Core Standards. Now that I have been through a year with these Standards, I feel like I understand them much better and I am not as anxious about making sure I cover them. There are A LOT of resources on the internet to help meet them. I have started notebooks for each subject with a divider for each Standard. I am in the process of putting in activities that go with each Standard.
As I searched Teachers pay Teachers and Teachers Notebook, I found 2 great resources that gave me a great start with the Reading Standards.
Megan Mitchell also has a Reading Nonfiction pack that I bought as well. All of these sets are already divided by First Grade Common Core Standards. They are great!
